Since its conception in July 2007, NIGHTLIFE has proven itself to be a phenomenal and growing success. Each night of the week is a complete experience with stimulating activities, lectures/discussions, an active social scene and a gorgeous array of appealing food designed by Brocha Friedman. The Lounge itself lends a warm and welcoming touch with large comfortable couches, coffee machine, and many new decorative additions.
Over the past few weeks, the girls in attendance have heard from outstanding speakers, experienced hands-on sushi making with the masters, taken part in voice training with Kineret, become skillful in makeup application with cosmetic consultant Yehudis Lent, enhanced their culinary talent from professional cook and cookbook author Sandra Blank, created elegant jewelry with artist Hadasa Korer, and more. The lecturers are chosen for their eloquence and ability to relate, and as one girl commented, ” It’s been a while since I was at a program that actually kept my interest and attention the whole time. I had a great time!”
The NIGHTLIFE coordinators rely on feedback from participants in order to improve and develop the program to its optimum and thus far, the results are apparent! NIGHTLIFE has become a welcoming and open space for girls in the city, with its relaxed atmosphere to simply “be” and enjoy.
